Course Details:

1. MGM College pioneered the study of German languages long back in 1968 under the guidance of Dr. Gundu Rao.The details of levels and timings of three part-time evening courses of one year duration are given below which is offered leading to

2. Certificate (G- I July -Feb Sundays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)(timings can be altered as per the convenience of majority of students)
3. Junior Diploma (G -II July-Feb 4 to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesday, Friday) and
4. Senior Diploma in German (G-III July-Feb 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidates who have passed SSLC /II PUC Examinations of Karnataka Boards
2. Candidates who are studying I, II, or III year Degree courses of Mangalore University are eligible to join the Certificate courses in German.
3. Students of other states and Universities must produce Eligibility and Migration Certificate.Those who pass the Certificate exam of the Mangalore University can join the next course of Junior Diploma in German.
4. Successful Candidates at Junior Diploma exam can join the Senior Diploma course.
5. The Department also prepares students for the examinations if Max Mueller Bhavan, Chennai.

The college is running a short-term diploma course in computer science during the lunch interval and after the working hours in the evening.

The course introduces basic computer programming and operating computers. Students of the college may take advantage of this course.

• A pass in SSLC.

• Those who pass this course are also eligible for admission to B.A. Degree Course.
