Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College, Udupi

Annual day is celebrated every year. It is a two day programme. On the first day 'Muddanna Sahithyothsawa' and the college day is celebrated. Prizes are distributed to the students according to their skills. Students Association Day is celebrated on the second day of the Annual Day. An ice cream party is held on this day which is followed by a fancy dress competition.

This is a programme conducted every year at the Muddanna Mantap to exhibit the talents of the students. Different programmes like dancing, singing etc. are performed by the students.

As a humble tribute to all the teachers, a couple of events are organized by the Students Welfare Council on the 5th of September, as a part of 'Teachers' Day Celebration'. Different types of programmes like quiz competition , "Anthyakshari" are conducted for the lecturers by the students.

a three day programme of devotional music held at the Muddana Mantapa every year. During this festival music competitions are held for primary, high school and college students. The programmes are held through out the day which also includes Hindustani Recital. "Hari Katha" by Bhadragiri Achyutha Das is a special attraction of this fest.

It is an Inter collegiate festival held every year which is conducted by the Study Circle in association with the HRD cell.

It is an inter-collegiate competition in which quiz, essay writing, extempore and debate are organized. It is organized by the Commerce Club, and is held every year.

It has been providing ample opportunities and a forum for the budding writers, poets and artists of our college. Creative writings are being published every week on the notice board. Every year prizes are awarded to the best contributions. It is also called "Bharahagarara Vedike". It encourages the talents of students.

The college magazine is published every year which gives a detailed report of the activities which take place in the college campus.
