1. Another area where the college has come to the help of students is in providing healthy mid-day meals for the day scholars in the canteen.
2. The new building Annapoorna presents today a delightful scene at noon when more than 400 students and teachers take advantage of the subsidized board.
3. Annapoorna is now equipped with LPG Gas connection ,refrigerator, grinders etc.
4. This facility available in the campus makes the task of organizing whole day functions like seminars and workshops less cumbersome. Prof. Dr. P.N. Narashimhamoorthy , Principal of the College (1997-1998) initiated a programme of instituting a fund the annual returns of which should be utilized to provide lunch to poor deserving students free of cost or at a concessional rate.

1. The store was registered in June 1952 as a Co-operative Society, supplying stationery and other articles to the students at a competitive rate and all the students of the college are its Associative Members or Shareholders.
2. The store supplies all the text books and stationery articles required by the students.
3. Students are requested to buy in their own interest their requirements from the Store.
4. The profits of the Store are distributed as Scholarships to needy students.

• There are altogether 56 classrooms in MGM College. Steps are being taken to convert old black bords with more effective green blackboards

• PU and Degree courses are associated with well equipped Laboratories. A state of the art Audio Visual Hall helps interactive teaching.

• Was inaugurated by Sri. T Ramesh U Pai. It has a computer laboratory.

• The air conditioned audio visual hall named "Studio 100" is also situated here with OHP and LCD projector amenities, which can accommodate upto 100 people.

• Computer resources center with state of the art computer lab with 150 computers, printers, scanners, server, laptop and LCD.

Canteen was inaugurated by Dr. M I Savadati (Vice-chancellor, Mangalore university) on 23rd March, 1990.

1. Employment Information Bureau was started mainly for career guidance.
2. It assists the students in the all-important choice of a future career.
3. In the capable hands of the Career Guidance Counselor and the Principal, the Bureau has helped to orient students, offer them information about diverse lines of Academic specialization and job opportunities.
4. The Bureau has a steady flow in its pipe-line of informational talks , interview -demonstrations , panel discussion , regular bulletin and guest lectures by experts. The Bureau is in its infancy but its dedicated service augurs well for the future.

1. Hostel facilities are provided for students coming from far off places.
2. Sri Vadiraja Vidyarthini Nilaya is a Ladies Hostel.
3. It was built in 1970. Vadiraja Vidhyarthini Nilaya is provided with excellent facilities like an auditorium, Priyadarshini Hall added in 1973.
4. The ladies hostel has earned a name for discipline and self rule and living in MGM Ladies Hostel is almost as accreditation for girls in the matrimonial world. Recently, the Managment has decided to construct an additional wing of ladies hostel at a cost of Rs. 1.3 crores. The UGC already agreed to give a grant of Rs. 70.5 lakhs during this plan period.

• The Committee comprises the Principal as the Ex-officio President and some staff members and student representatives selected by the Principal.

• The Physical Education Committee shall layout the general policy regarding the Sports and Games activities in the College and decide on matters connected with them.

• In case of any difference of opinion the decision of the Principal shall be final.
